Dorothy G. Auger
April 3, 1927 — October 12, 2016
Colonie- Dorothy G. Auger, 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 with her family by her side. Dorothy was born in Lynn, MA to the late Roger Arsenault and Laura Doucette-Arsenault. She was predeceased by her late husband Mederic E. Auger.
Dorothy enjoyed traveling with her husband and was an avid reader and loved to cross stitch.
She is survived by her children, Mederic E. (Joan) Auger III, Laurie J. Harlow, Dr. William R. (Joanne) Auger, Patricia M. Auger, Mary (Frank) Esposito. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Ellis Residential & Rehabilitation Center for all the care and compassion given to Dorothy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 9:00 am at St. Clare's Church. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 2:00 pm- 5:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205. Interment will follow Mass at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
