Latham - Donald B. Russell, 74, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 with his loving family by his side. Donald was the son of the late E. Stanley and Florence Russell. Donald was the loving husband to Sharon Russell. They were married 9 years.
Donald loved music, especially the Beatles and Bob Dylan. He was an avid golfer and was a member of C.A.R.G.O. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed his "movie nights out" with his best girl. Donald enjoyed cooking for Sharon and surprising her with his culinary skills. Donald played the acoustic and electric guitars along with the keyboard.
Donald is survived by his son, Dale (Melissa); grandchildren, Gregg and Cassie; his brother, Bill Russell; and many loving nieces, nephews, their children and friends.
Donald was predeceased by his sisters, Carol and Jean.
Visitations will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 pm. Interment to be determined by the family at a later date.
