Donald Joseph Karl, 57, passed away unexpectedly on May 17, 2015 at home.
Donald was born March 12, 1958, son of Edward and the late Nancy Karl.
Donald received his certificate with ITT Tech.
He proudly served with the United States Navy and continued with the Navy Reserves.
He was a member of the VFW/American Legion Post # 701 in Amsterdam.
He worked for Stonebridge Steel in Gansevoort for many years.
Donald enjoyed gardening, he loved his three feline companions and his family and friends.
Donald is survived by his daughters, Alysha Karl and Deanna Karl. His five grandchildren, Hannah, Autumn, Ayden, Christopher and Summer. He is also survived by one sister, three brothers and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 12:00 pm at NEw Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
