Listen to Obituary

Dianne Muscatello, 82, made her final journey to heaven on Friday, September 12, 2025 at home with her loving family by her side. Dianne was the daughter of the late John Delaney and Eva (Meek) Delaney.

Dianne is survived by her son, John Barry Muscatello and daughters, Tracy Muscatello-Crowley and Lisa Ann Muscatello along with her daughters-in-law, Valerie Sleight, Michelle Crowley and Tara Burke-Muscatello, and two grandchildren, Ian and Nola Muscatello. Dianne was also survived by her beloved cat and “best friend”, Maggie.

During her childhood, Dianne lived near the Jersey shore and she always loved traveling to the oceanside. A memorable trip was with her one of her daughters, to Cape May, NJ to celebrate her 70th birthday followed by a surprise party with family upon return. She also loved the comfort of the several cats that she had during her life. She was so compassionate towards all animals and enjoyed her remaining time convalescing at her daughter’s home and animal sanctuary. Looking out at the pastures, she took comfort knowing this was to be her final resting place.

A celebration of her life will take place on October 4th from 1-4pm at HeartsHerd Animal Sanctuary in Buskirk where she took residence at the charming post and beam cottage, during the past year.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to HeartsHerd Animal Sanctuary, 2075 Buskirk, NY 12028. www.heartsherd.com
