COLONIE-Dennis M. Horton, 73, passed away on January 28, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.
Dennis was born on November 5, 1944 to the late Edward and Ann Horton in Albany, NY. On January 7, 1968 Dennis married the love of his life, Luva. They were married for 50 years and together raised three daughters. Dennis served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In 2006 he retired as a truck driver with over 40 years of service.
Dennis is survived by his beloved wife, Luva, his three daughters, Denise Horton, Luva Horton, and Diane (Dan) Lawyer, his grandchildren, Lee Winchell, Leeann Winchell, Ashlee (Fiancé Justin Pestuglicci) Lawyer, Miranda Winchell, his great-grandson, Luke Winchell, his siblings, Deborah Whitman, Edward (Bonnie) Horton Jr., and Gale (John) Kuhlkin, his cousin, Patricia Salisbury, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY 12871, on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11:30am.
