Delia M. Vincent

Altamont

Delia M. Vincent (Mendez) passed away on August 7th, 2026 at the age of 99 at the home of her daughter Mary Martratt where she had been residing for the past two years. Born on July 25, 1927 in Panama, Delia was the daughter of the late Juan Mendez, her father and Modesta Patio, her mother. 

She married Gerald Vincent together they built there life in Altamont they had 5 children Mike (Sharon) Vincent of Bern, Mark Vincent(Pam) of the state of Washington, Mary (Chris) Martratt of Schoharie. She is predeceased by her daughters Bonnie and Linda Vincent. Delia was a proud grandmother of eight, Michelle Vincent, Heather Mohlenbrok, Heidi Vincent, Tim Vincent, Nick and Rhonda Vincent and three great grandchildren Malikai and Avery Vincent and Eliana Martratt. 

Delia worked at Altamont Elementary School and Cob Memorial School in Altamont. Delia was very friendly with every one she met, she would clean houses and take care of people all over Altamont she was very easy going was loved by every one she met. Delia would take a lot of her childrens friends under her wings she loved to garden and had a green thumb for her house plants she liked to quilt too.

Calling hours will be at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie on Thursday, August 13th  from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Services will begin at 1pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cenetery in Altamont.
