Kinderhook- Deborah S. Schecter, 53, passed away suddenly and peacefully in her sleep on February 8, 2017. Debbie was the daughter of the late George and Sylvia (Folmsbee) Pappalau, she was born on March 6, 1963 in Schenectady, NY. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, David Schecter; her siblings: Stephen (Lynn) Pappalau, Karen (Frank) Reith, Linda (David) Younts, Kenneth Pappalau and Sharon (Ernie) Raffan; her special aunt Beverly (Dan) Bouchard; her sisters-in-law: Carole Pappalau and Rosanne (Ed) Schladebech and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Jimmy Pappalau.
Memorial visitation will be held from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm on Sunday, February 12 at New Comer Funeral & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY.
