Debora Marie Kimball

Debora Kimball, 64, of Rotterdam, NY, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 19, 2026.

Debbie was born in Stamford, NY, to Jeanetta and John C. Burroughs. She was a graduate of Roxbury Central School in Roxbury, NY, and went on to build her life in Rotterdam, where she shared 44 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Larry Kimball. Debbie worked at MVP for many years, where she built lasting friendships and connections with those around her.

Together, Debbie and Larry raised three children: Larry Matthew (Steve Bishop), Ashley (Michael Lein), and Rachel (Jessica Berschwinger). She was a devoted mother and a loving Nana to Paxton and Ryan, the children of Ashley and Michael.

Debbie loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed walking and playing pickleball with friends, tending to her garden, cooking, and, perhaps most characteristically, keeping a clean and tidy home. She found joy in caring for the people and the home she loved, and she took great pride in making those around her feel welcome.

Debbie will be remembered for her love of family, her friendships, her generous heart, and the simple everyday moments she shared with those closest to her. Her sudden passing leaves a deep void in the lives of all who knew and loved her.

She was predeceased by her father, John C. Burroughs, and her brother, John Curtis.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Larry Kimball; her mother, Jeanetta Burroughs; her children, Larry Matthew (Steve Bishop), Ashley (Michael Lein), and Rachel (Jessica Berschwinger); her grandchildren, Paxton and Ryan; and many relatives and dear friends.

Though her time with us was far too short, the love she gave to her family and friends will remain with them always.

Friends and family are welcome for calling hours on Monday, September 28, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205, with a service to follow at 6:00 PM.
