It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David M. Cullam, a loving husband, dedicated father, cherished brother, and vibrant friend, who passed away on June 2, 2026, at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY. Born and raised in Guilderland, Dave filled every room with his warmth, humor, and zest for life.

The beloved son of Donna and the late John C. Cullam, Jr., Dave was known for his infectious spirit and larger-than-life presence. He shared his journey with Christine, his wife of 35 years. Together, they nurtured a family full of love and adventure, raising their son, Ryan, who along with his wife Brooke, carries forward his father's legacy of kindness and tenacity.

Dave's professional life was marked by his entrepreneurial spirit. In 2016, alongside his partner George White, he founded Tone Color Solutions, a company that became pivotal in the world of color specialization for major corporations. Through this venture, Dave discovered a love for travel and an appreciation for diverse cultures, enriching his life and the lives of those around him.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dave was a man of many passions. His greatest joy was found on the baseball field, where he spent more than a decade coaching his son, Ryan, and countless teammates alongside Brian Grabek. Dave's dedication cultivated a positive impact on the athletes he coached. He never missed a game, and his presence was a source of inspiration and support.

In recent years, Dave rekindled his passion for golf, sharing many enjoyable tee times with his son Ryan, creating memories that will be cherished forever. A diehard New York Yankees fan, Dave's love for the team was evident in the man cave he meticulously crafted, a sanctuary where he celebrated countless victories and shared his passion for the sport with family and friends.

Dave's family was his world, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and unity. He is survived by his mother Donna, his wife Christine, his son Ryan and daughter-in-law Brooke, his brother John (Tammy), his sister Teresa (Corey), his niece Carli (Ethan), his nephew Justin (Beth), and his sister-in-law Maria. Each of them will forever carry the memory of his colorful storytelling, his quick wit, and his unparalleled ability to make everyone feel at home.

We remember Dave as a beacon of joy, a master of sarcasm, and a man who made every moment count. His stories, laughter, and love will echo in the hearts of all who knew him, and his legacy will endure in the lives he touched along his journey.
