David A. Smith

David A. Smith, 64, the son of Rosemary and the late William Smith, of Guilderland, passed away at home on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

Dave was a lifelong resident of Guilderland. He spent his career working in the construction industry within in the Capital District area.

Dave is predeceased by his father William R. Smith.

He is survived by his mother, Rosemary Smith and his siblings William (Patricia) Smith and Jeanne (Stephen) Orenstein. Dave is also survived by his two nieces, Rachel and Jordan Orenstein. As well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205 from 4pm to 7pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the American Heart Association, Celebrate the Life of a Loved One or Habitat for Humanity, Online Donation - Habitat for Humanity International.
