Daniel F. Piazza

Daniel F. Piazza, 62, died Saturday, July 5, 2025 after a long illness. Daniel leaves behind his devoted and loving wife of 29 years, Marcia Rose Piazza.

Born in Albany, NY, he was the son of the late Peter T. Piazza and Margaret V. Currie Piazza. He was the brother of Kathy (James) Creed and the late Peter, Dennis and Kevin Piazza. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, cousins, great nieces and great nephews.

Daniel graduated from Guilderland High School in 1980. He retired from the NYS Office of General Services in 2018. He was an enthusiastic Buffalo Bills and NY Yankee fan. He enjoyed being in his Fantasy Football League. He cherished his family and was generous and kind. He was loved by all.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will immediately follow in Millertown Cemetery, Johnsonville, NY.
