Cynthia M. Sullivan

Cynthia M. Sullivan, 64, of Albany, NY, passed away Friday, August 21, 2026 at Albany Medical Hospital surrounded by family. Born on November 17, 1961, Cindy was the beloved daughter of the late Francis Lee Thomas.

Cindy enjoyed playing cards or dice with family and friends. She also loved to go to bingo on Friday nights. The most important thing to Cindy was family. She loved getting together for parties, cookouts, or just a Sunday dinner. She never passed up a chance to bake with her grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her brother, Gregory Bennett

Cindy is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph P. Sullivan. She was the devoted mother of Joseph P. Sullivan Jr., Ashley (Patrick) Bishop, and Jamie (Brad) Sullivan. She was the cherished grandmother of Makayla, Aliviah, and Gemma Bishop, Hailey Hunt, and Areanna and Jaiden Sullivan. She was also the great-grandmother of Miyana Murphy. Cindy's grandchildren were everything to her. She always said, "I love them more than chocolate cake." Cindy was sister to Wendy Alheim, Kelly Dagner, and Stephen Bennett. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours 5:00pm-7:00pm will be held Monday August 31, 2026, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals 343 New Karner Road Colonie, NY 12205. Funeral services will be held 10:00am on Tuesday September 1, 2026, at Funeral Home.
