Corey L. Williams

Corey Lee Williams, 48, gained his wings on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Wellspan York Hospital in York, PA. He was the son of Willie H. Williams and the late LeeAnn McLean. Born on August 18, 1977, Corey lived in Albany, NY until he relocated to York, PA in 2024. 

He graduated from Schalmont High School in Rotterdam, NY. Corey had a 30 year career as an automotive service technician. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, cooking out on the grill, and drawing. Corey had a special passion for detailing cars and loved spending time with his family. 

Corey is survived by his wife, Raquel Acosta-Williams of York, PA., children Isaiah Stoddard, Mercedes and Lynnia Williams (of Albany, NY), Raquel Acosta, Jasmine, Aliana, and Logan Williams (of York, PA). Grandchildren Alejandro and Shanique Stoddard, Elena Hernandez, Londyn, Legend, and Korey Williams. Siblings Wynetha "Chi-Chi," Willie "Will," Diamond Williams (all of Albany, NY) and Lakya McLean-Legette (of Charlotte, NC). Aunts Judith McLean (of Albany, NY), Carrie Dozer (of Schenectady, NY), Vernell Cherry and Nellie Mangum and his Uncle William Lewis (Clarice) (all of North Carolina). Corey also left to grieve a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and longtime family friends Joanna Crewell and Yulanda Coons. 

He is predeceased by his mother, LeeAnn McClean, his son, Michael Williams, Maternal Grandparents, Annie McLean and Woodrow Wilson, Paternal Grandmother, Wynetha Jackson, Aunt Mercedez Lewis, Uncles: Sanley McLean, Willie Lewis, and Charlie Mangum, and cousins: Nathaniel "Fuquan" Crowley and Sylvester "Boot" Jones.
