Colonie - Conrad E. Wunsch Jr., 93, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026. Born in Albany, NY, he was the son of the late Conrad and Lena Wunsch.

Conrad proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War after graduating from high school. He later worked as a warehouse employee for Schenectady Chemicals and A&P Supermarket.

A devoted member of the Robert L. Weininger VFW Post #8692, Conrad served as Commander and remained actively involved for many years. He was a lifelong New York Giants fan who deeply loved his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.

In addition to his parents, Conrad was predeceased by his beloved wife, Antoinette Wunsch; his daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Michael Abbate; and his brothers, Erwin and Walter Wunsch.

He is survived by his loving son, Edward (Patty) Wunsch Sr.; his cherished grandchildren, Edward (Tammy) Wunsch Jr., Stephen (Deanna) Wunsch, Jennifer (Elizabeth) Isenstein, Kristen (John) Heeney, Michael Abbate, and Anthony Abbate; as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation 10:00am-11:00am, followed by A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00am. Will be held Wednesday April 15, 2026, held at Christ Our Light 1 Maria Drive Loudonville, NY 12211. Interment to follow mass Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
