Clifton G. Damon, 91, passed away on June 6, 2015.
Clifton honorably and faithfully served his country during World War II in the U.S Army. During his service he earned the Asiatic Pacific Theatre of Operations medal and the World War II Victory medal. He was employed as a printer for Argus Greenwood for many years and lastly for Albany Public Library.
He is survived by his wife Anita; his daughters: Rachel Criscione and Judy Nevins; 3 grandchildren: Amy (Nicholas) Bevins, Emily (Mark) Prosser and Nicholas Criscione as well as 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Wednesday, June 10 at New Comer Funeral Home 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, June 11 at the funeral home. Christian burial with military honors will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
