Albany- Clarice R. Pope, 63, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015, at Albany county Nursing home.
Clarice was born to the late Christine Inez Clarke on November 22, 1951, in Portsmouth, VA.
She is predeceased her siblings; Norma Jean Clarke, John E. Clarke, and her husband, Lawrence Gaines.
She is survived by her children; Norene Clarke, Michaude Clarke, Kareem Clarke (Whitted), Aisha Clarke, her sister, Nora Clarke, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of friends and family.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY, on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, from 9:00am to 12:00pm, with a service to immediately follow.
