Cindy J. Cross

Cindy J. Cross, 68, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025 at St. Peter’s Hospital, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, quiet strength, and a deep appreciation for the natural world.

A lifelong butcher, Cindy was known for her dedication to her craft and her warm, steady presence in the lives of those around her. She found joy in bird watching, often spending tranquil hours marveling at the beauty of nature.

Cindy was also a woman of profound faith. As a born-again Christian, she lived her life with grace, humility, and a deep trust in God’s promises. Cindy will be remembered for her quiet resilience, her love of nature, and the way she made even the simplest moments feel special. She will be deeply missed.

She was predeceased by her parents, Lewis Cross Sr. and Florence Cross; sister, Sharon Cross; and her nephew, Bruce Hilt Jr. Their memories remain cherished by those who knew and loved them.

Cindy is lovingly survived by her siblings, Linda (Bruce) Hilt, Lewis Cross Jr. (Bob), Bonnie Bixby (NH), David Cross (Kim), and Tammy Cross; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, who will carry forward her spirit and kindness.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
