Albany- Christopher Stephen Bearup,43, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 20, 2015. Chris was the loving husband of Michelle (DeCrescenzo) Bearup and dedicated father of 10 month-old Max Fenway Bearup. He is the son of Stephen and Lynn (Rossman) Bearup.
Chris, a lifelong resident of the Albany area, was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and a member of Red Sox Nation and the Empire State Dart League. Chris enjoyed playing guitar, baseball, golfing, skiing, watching the Buffalo Bills, and driving awesome cars but most of all he loved being a dad and husband.
Chris, a 1990 graduate of Bethlehem High School, received an Associate's Degree from SUNY Delhi in Travel and Tourism in 1993. He completed his college internship as a member of the Walt Disney World College Program. During that time he was a "VoluntEAR" for Gingerbread House Make A Wish Foundation.
Christopher received a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and Resort Management from R.I.T. in 1995.
He was a member of ETA Sigma Delta and Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity. In 1995 Chris had the opportunity to work as a Nissan Corporate Tent Supervisor for the 1995 Ryder Cup at Oak Hill Country Club, Rochester, NY.
For the past eight years Chris worked at SUNY Albany in the Intensive English Language Program as Assistant to the Director. He was a Precision Driver and Production Assistant with Drive Time Productions for over 10 years and a proud member of the International Motor Press Association.
In addition to his wife, son and parents, Chris is survived by his brother, Timothy (Carla) Bearup, nephew, Noah Bearup, his grandmothers Margaret (Roy) Bearup and Catherine (Travison) Rossman as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
He is predeceased by his grandfathers, Paul A. Bearup and Robert C. Rossman.

Calling hours will be held Monday, December 28th 2015 from 3:00pm-8:00pm at New Comer Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Tuesday December 29th, 2015 at 10:00am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery.
