Christopher Cooke, born on January 31, 1966, passed away on April 8, 2026. He lived a life marked by dedication to his work and a rich variety of interests that brought joy to both himself and those around him.
Christopher's professional journey was both diverse and impactful. He contributed his skills to South Worth, Farrell Homes, and Willard Mountain, among others, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to each role. Alongside these positions, he took on many side jobs, showcasing his versatility and willingness to engage in various forms of labor. His educational background laid a solid foundation for his career, having graduated from Delmar High School and furthering his training at trade school, specifically Ohio Diesel, which equipped him with specialized knowledge and skills.
Beyond his career, Christopher was a man of many passions. He found pleasure and fulfillment in hobbies such as maple syrup making, hunting, woodworking, baking, sewing, auto repair, fishing, gardening, football, and poker. These interests not only enriched his life but also created bonds with friends and family who shared in these activities. Whether in the serenity of gardening or the camaraderie of poker games, Christopher's enthusiasm was evident.
He was predeceased by his mother Frances P. (Katchmar) Cooke and his brother Todd Cooke.
He is survived by his loving family, including his father, James Cooke, his brother Andrew Cooke, his children, Travis Cooke, Jerehmy Cooke and Sarah Cooke. He is the cherished grandfather of Flora ad Clara. These relationships were a central part of his life, bringing him support, happiness, and a lasting legacy. His presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Christopher Cooke’s life was a testament to hard work, diverse talents, and deep connections with loved ones. His memory endures in the hearts of his family and friends, who will remember him with great respect and affection.
There will be a celebration of Christopher's life help on August 2, 2026 from 2pm to 6 pm at The Greywacke Meadows in Cropseyville, NY.
