Christine A. Culnan

Colonie- Christine A. Culnan, born on March 15, 1948, in Albany, NY, peacefully left this world on August 28, 2025, at St. Peter's Hospital, after a long illness. Her journey through life was marked by an unwavering love for her family and a warm spirit that touched everyone she encountered.

Christine carved out a life filled with reliability and dedication, working as a beloved waitress at Valle's Steak House for a couple of years before committing more than 20 years to Travelers Insurance. She also devoted over 20 years of her professional life to the Office of Dr. James Dolph, where her kindness and reliability made a lasting impact on colleagues and patients alike.

Education was important to Christine, and she proudly graduated from Shaker High School. However, beyond her career accomplishments, it was the roles of mother and grandmother that defined her. An anchor in the lives of her two sons, Sean (Kimberly) Culnan and Lance Culnan, she nurtured a deep bond with each of them. Christine "Meme" found immense joy in being surrounded by her grandchildren— Zachary, Mikayla, Adriana, Niko, and Griffin. Her heart swelled with pride as she created cherished memories with them, always prioritizing their happiness and well-being.

Those fortunate enough to know Christine marveled at her loving and kind demeanor. She was a friend to many, enveloping those around her with warmth and laughter. Her passion for animals, her generous spirit, and her enjoyment of a good Coors Light added to her vibrant personality, making every gathering a celebration of life.

Christine's legacy will live on in the hearts of her sons and grandchildren, and in the memories shared among friends and family. She leaves behind a tapestry of love, resilience, and light that will continue to inspire those who knew her. Even in her absence, the love she radiated remains a comforting embrace to all who held her dear. Christine will be remembered as a devoted mother, an affectionate grandmother, and a cherished friend—her spirit forever entwined in the lives she touched.
