Christine J. Maines

Albany- Christine J. Maines, 72, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Cosmo and Jeanne (LaChance) Girzone. Christine was the devoted wife to the late Roy Rabine. They were married 25 years.

Christine enjoyed going to the Casinos as well as spending time with her beloved cats. In addition to going to the casino, Christine also loved bingo, reading, online gaming on FB, trying new restaurants and traveling when able. Christine was a BIG fan of the NY Mets and NY Giants. But most of all, Christine had a strong love for animals of all kind. 

Christine is survived by her Niece, Deborah "Debbie" D. (Kim) Leis; her two cats, Julius and Ty; and many cousins and friends. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Christine is predeceased by her sister, Deanna (Ken) Leis; and her brother, Jim (Sandy) Girzone. 

Services will be held privately. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local animal shelter or animal rescue.
