Charlotte Amigo, 83 passed away in her home on July 16, 2025, surrounded by her family. Charlotte was the daughter of the late, Joseph Knecht and Irene Hinkle. She was a graduate of Liberty High School. On August 18, 1962, Charlotte married her soul mate, Frank. As childhood friends, they were married for 60 years together until Frank passed. During their marriage, Charlotte and Frank raised their daughters, watched their grandchildren grow and shared a quiet love story more often read of than seen. The home she made with Frank, is known as the place of love & laughter. Many regard their house as a haven of warmth, joy, and cherished memories for all who entered. It is truly the end of an era and will be difficult to fill the void.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she had a gift for listening, never judged, and always welcomed others with open arms-and a full table. Her vibrant spirit, kind heart, and the love she gave so freely will be missed by all who knew her.
Charlotte had a deep love of music, dancing, and celebration. Her joy lit up every room and every heart. Even in her final year in hospice care, she continued to sing, smile, and connect deeply with those around her, including her beloved caregivers, hospice team and devoted daughters.
Charlotte is predeceased by her grandson Matthew and her brother Douglas. She survived by her devoted daughters, Lisa Amigo-Nolan (Chris), Stephanie Amigo-Hausamann (Eric), Jennifer Amigo, and Linda Testa (Steve), her beloved grandchildren Hannah, Brian, Emily, Christian, Rebecca, Joshua, Ian, Sarah, Jeremiah, Joseph, Lindsey, her great grandsons Parker and Leo, and her sister Darlene Kelly and brother Ronald Knecht. Charlotte has so many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends that she loved so very much.
