ALBANY - Charles V. Schultz, 86, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015.
Charles was born in Albany on September 13, 1928 and was the son of the late John J. and Mary Theresa Seider Schultz. He attended Blessed Sacrament elementary school and Schuyler High School. He worked for W. H. Smith Paper Corp. in Albany as a paper cutter for over 30 years before retiring. He enjoyed building model cars and planes, woodworking and watching golf.
Charles is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Susan J. (Richburg) Schultz. Charles is the uncle to Ann, Carlo, Daniel, and John Carlino, Barbara Foote and the late James Carlino. Brother-in-law to Eleanor Asprion of California, Vernon Richburg of Vermont, Carlo Carlino of Albany, and Janet Richburg of Albany and many other nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Ludy Schultz and Helen Cordell.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Colonie.
