Colonie- Charles F. Taylor, 71, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.
Chuck was born in Albany, NY to the late John and Dorothy King Taylor on December 27, 1946. Chuck was a graduate of Albany High School and went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Navy. He retired from the United States Postal Service with over 25 years of service. Chuck will be remembered for his love of fishing, golfing, bowling, and spending time at his camp in Wells, NY.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Wing Taylor, his children, Craig (Nicole Foley) Taylor, Melissa Taylor, and Keith (Liz) Taylor, his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jacob, and Calvin, and many cousins.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 4:00pm-7:00pm with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, 303 Sand Creek Road, Colonie, NY 12205, on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Chuck's name to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105
