WATERVLIET - Charles "Chuck" B. Edwards, 78, was called home on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Albany Medical Center.
Charles was born on August 7, 1944 in Du Bois, PA, son of the late Ralph and Josephine Edwards. He retired from CDTA after more than 25 years. After retiring from CDTA, Chuck worked as a school crossing guard for the City of Troy for 15 years. He was an avid BBQ Grill Master, he loved to play the horses at Saratoga and he was known for his love of the NY Giants. Chuck especially loved spending time with his family.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Kathleen; his two daughters, Becky and Christine (Gregory); his grandchildren, Tim, Justyn (Kenzi), Ryan, and Sarah; one great grandson, Charles; his siblings, Ralph (Diana), JoAnn, David (Lisa), Herbert, and Mark (Sue); and several nieces and nephews.
Per Charles' wishes, there will be no services.
