Charles Eble GREENFIELD CENTER - Charles Eble of Greenfield Center, NY has lost his six-year battle with cancer. He is survived by his sister, Patti Urell, her husband Jim and a large extended family whose lives have been enriched by his kind and caring heart. Charles was an active participant in the greater Saratoga Springs community. He was the owner of Woods End Recording Studio for more than twenty-five years, winning multiple awards for his audio productions and providing iconic jingles for SPAC, the Saratoga Race Track and the Saratoga County Fair. He recorded live performances at the Linda Theater for broadcast over WAMC radio, was a primary sound recordist for WMHT television and the sound designer for the New York State Theater Institute. He was a son, a brother, a husband, a father, a friend, a mentor and a calm, cool presence for everyone who knew and loved him.
A service will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, NY 12189 at 10:00am on Thursday, May 11. A celebration of Charlie's life will take place at Bravo Restaurant, 3246 S. Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm later that day.
