He retired from Delta Electronics in Beverly, Massachusetts, at the age of 70 after dedicating his life to his career. Delta was his home away from home.

Outside of work, Charles shared a devoted, lifelong partnership with Sharon, whom he lovingly called his “Sweetheart” for more than 35 years.

Charles was the last of his generation, the youngest of five brothers and one sister, all of whom predeceased him. Family and close friends affectionately called him “Chickie,” a nickname he carried from childhood.

For the last two years of his life, Charles lived with his daughter’s family. This time was filled with comfort, laughter, and meaningful daily moments. He loved being surrounded by photos of the people he cherished, enjoyed his favorite desserts and television shows, and treasured the time he spent with his grandson, DeClan. These simple joys brought him great happiness.

Charles will be remembered with love by his family. He is survived by his daughter, ChasaRae Ana Webb; her husband, Dennis; and their son, DeClan. He is also survived by his stepson, Brian LaPlante; Brian’s partner, Tammy, and thier son, Cody; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his life partner, Sharon Ann LaPlante, who passed away on September 29, 2024.

May his memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
