Charles Whalen Bird Jr

Charles Whalen Bird Jr. passed away on September 24, 2026, at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. He was born on February 16, 1947, in Lynn, Massachusetts, the son of Charles Whalen Bird Sr and Elenor Harriet Cross Bird. 

He was a retired employee of Delta Electronics in Beverly, MA.

Even though Charles never married Sharon, he considered her his "Sweetheart" for over 35 years. Charles is the last of his generation, the youngest of 5 brother and 1 sister, all of whom passed away predeceased him. Family and close friends referred to him as "Chickie", because he was the youngest of his siblings. 

Charles will be remembered with love by his family. He is survived by his daughter, Chasarae Ana Webb; his Sep-son, Brian LaPlante; his grandson, DeClan Ryder Webb; and his son-in-law, Dennis Michael Webb, and a hose of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his spouse, Sharon Ann LaPlante, his life partner, who died on September 29, 2024.
