Celia A. Salamone, nee Plummer, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2005 at Albany Medical Center following a brief illness.
Born in North Tonawanda, NY, she was the daughter of the late Berton P. and Coletta Smith Plummer. Celia graduated from North Tonawanda High School in North Tonawanda, NY and Mildred Elley School in Albany and worked as a secretary in both the legal and medical professions before retiring to be at home.
Celia is survived by her devoted husband Frank and her beloved daughter Susan S. Salamone of Guilderland, three brothers: David S. (Marion) Plummer, Sidney, NY, George F. (Catherine) Plummer, Albany, NY and Mark Alton (Kate) Plummer of Columbus, Ohio. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are being handled by New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home in Colonie, NY.
