Albany - Catherine Micari , 74, entered into her heavenly home on Saturday, January 14, 2017, while surrounded by her loving family. Catherine was the daughter of the late Tindaro and Maria Fazio, and was the devoted wife of 53 years to Joseph Micari.
Catherine was a home maker, she loved her husband and family very much. Her caring ways, and warm smile will be missed by all.
Along with her beloved husband, Catherine will be forever missed by her brothers: Salvatore (Mafalda) Fazio, Antonino (Mary) Fazio; nephews: Tindaro, Anthony T. and Marcello Fazio; nieces: Maria Volpe, and Sandra Stratmann; along with many great nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, on Friday, January 20, 2017, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at All Saints Church, 16 Homestead Street (Next to CVS), Albany, at 9:00 am, with the burial to follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in Catherine's name to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation at:
