Carole K. Murray, 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Albany Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Carole was born in New Jersey and was the daughter of the late Harold and Kathleen Walker. Carole was the devoted wife to the late Ralph T. Murray for over 60 years.
Carole was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
She traveled all over the world with her family and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed family cook outs, Friday night dinners and spending time with her grandchildren. Carole was an avid reader of history and mystery novels. She lived a life full of love and laughter, her sense of humor was infectious and will be truly missed.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her granddaughter Janis Murray and her son-in-law Carl Mai.
Carole is survived by her seven children; Kathleen (John) Wilson, John (Jackie) Murray, James Murray, Patricia Murray, Ralph Murray, Jr., Helen Garling and Ann Murray. She is also survived by 18 grandkids, 15 Great Grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, her brother James (Catherine) Walker, many nieces and nephews and her beloved cat Seymour.
Calling hours will be held at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY 12110, on Tuesday February 24, 2026 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the calling hours at 10:30 am at the church. Internment will follow the Mass at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands where Carole will be laid to rest with her husband. All are invited.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Capital District Rescue Mission, 259 South Pearl St. Albany, NY 12202.
The family would like to thank the staff at Albany Medical Center and Samaritan Hospital for all of the love and care given to Carole and her family.
