Carol E. O'Neill

Carol E. (White) O’Neill, 91, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at her daughter and son-in-law’s home with her devoted family by her side.

Born on the East Side of Troy, NY, to William D. and Eleanor (Leonard) White on July 7, 1934.

She attended School 16 and graduated from Troy High School Class of 1952. In 1956 she moved with her family to Loudonville, NY, where she remained in the Colonie area until her death.

Carol is survived by her loving family, her son David R. (Renee) Teta of St. Augustine, FL., Daughter Darcy (Louis) Ventresca of Niskayuna, NY., Step-son Richard J. (Pamela) O’Neill of Colonie, NY., Grandchildren Daniel L. Ventresca of Scotia, Elizabeth R. (Matt) Connelly, Suzanne M. (T.J.) Harris, and Great Granddaughter Whitney E. Connelly, Great-Grandson Ryan M. Connelly, all of Florida; Sister Nancy J. Frichette; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband William B. O’Neill; siblings William D (Jean) White, Betty Lou (William) Goodrich, and brother-in-law Charles Frichette; and her former husband Rocco M. Teta.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 9:00 am – 10:30 am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie NY. Entombment will take place in St. Agnes Cemetery Mausoleum, Menands. Carol will be laid to rest next to her husband Bill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Carol’s name to Community Hospice or to Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.
