Carmen A. Garcia-Rosario

Carmen A. Garcia-Rosario, 72, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, September 12, 2025 . Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Gabriela Garcia-Rosario.

Carmen enjoyed loud music and Salsa dancing. She loved cooking for everyone and drinking her coors light. Above all she loved her family and friends.

Carmen is survived by her daughters Wanda I. Cruz, Cynthia De Los Santos and Carmen A. De Los Santos. She was the loving grandma to Julio, Keshya, Noelly, Manuel, Nezaria, Josiah, Elias and Jaciel. She will also be missed by her siblings Pedro, Haydee, Julia (Miguel), and Gloria (Victor). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Carmen will also be missed by her love, Julio De Los Santos.

She is predeceased by her brother Hector Garcia and sister Luz Maria Cruzado-Rosario.

A calling hour will be held on Friday September 19. 2025 from 11am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, NY 12205. A funeral service will begin at 12pm with interment following at Calvary Cemetery.
