Scotia- Carlton T. Kuhlmeier, Sr., 60, passed away at his home on November 25, 2016. The son of the late Frederick and Rose Marie (Quigley) Kuhlmeier, Carl was born on February 25, 1956 in the Bronx.
In his early years, Carl was a truck driver. He worked for more than 25 years at Conifer Park in Glenville, where he was currently the Head of Security. Carl had a very competitive nature, he enjoyed beating his friends at poker. He was an avid bowler, and bowled his first perfect 300 this April. Carl also enjoyed deep sea fishing, golfing and cheering on his New York Giants. Carl was a passionate friend of Bill W. for 35 years.
Carl was the rock of his family, his love for his wife, children, grandchildren, sisters and friends was endless. Words cannot express how much he will be missed.
Carl is survived by his loving wife and soulmate of 22 years Susan (Bennett-Garrow) Kuhlmeier; his children: Christine Johnson, Carlton T. (Mirranda) Kuhlmeier, Jr., Andrew (Heather) Garrow, Jr. and Aimee (Kevin) Anders; his seven cherished grandchildren; his sisters: Margaret (Tony) Scarpignato and Teresa (Bill) Frasche and his special nephew Michael (Allison) Scarpignato and a large extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 11 am to 1 pm on Tuesday, November 29 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie.
A funeral service will be held at 1 pm celebrated by Pastor Tom Gregg, Sr.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Carl's name to a charity of one's choice.
