Carlo Trichilo

Carlo Trichilo passed away at St. Peter’s Hospital on December 31, 2024 with is loving family by his side.

Carlo was born in Siderno Reggio Calabria Italy and was the son of the late Agustino and Rosa (Maleca) Trichilo.

Carlo was the devoted husband to Esterina (Cari Cari) Trichilo (predeceased) and father to daughters: Rosemary, Angela and Carmelina Trichilo. He is predeceased by brothers Michael and Dominic Trichilo. Carlo is survived by sisters: Modesta (Dominic) Mercuri, sister Mary Sausalone and younger brother Giuseppe (the late Ida) Trichalo

Carlo was a French trained award winning head chef at Jacks Oyster House in Albany, NY for many years.

Upon retiring, Carlo spent his days with family (Gardening, wine making, cooking and enjoying quality time with his beloved English setter Tippy.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 11am-1pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. A funeral service will begin at 1pm at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery following the service.
