GUILDERLAND - Carey F. O'Connor, 53, of Guilderland passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Albany Medical Center.
Carey was born on January 29, 1962 son of Bernard F. and Jane A. O'Connor in Albany, NY.
He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed rooting for his favorite teams the Green Bay Packers and New York Mets. He was an avid bicyclist. Carey loved his dog Cody. His free spirited ways will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by those who had the opportunity to know and love him.
Carey is survived by his mother, Jane A. O'Connor of Guilderland, brother, Col. Christopher E. O'Connor USMC Ret., and his wife Deborah and their children Brian, Katherine and Colin O'Connor of Montclair, VA, sister, Anne M. Meyers and her children Bethany and Megan Meyers of Guilderland.
He was predeceased by his father Bernard F. O'Connor.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Saint Madeleine Sophie's Catholic Church at 11:30 am. Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the service.
