Bridget L. Capasso

Colonie- Bridget Lynn Capasso, age 71, passed away peacefully at her home on January 14, 2026, in Colonie, New York, with her beloved husband by her side. She was born on December 4, 1954.

Bridget lived her life devoted to her family. Her greatest joy came from her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world. Bridget was a loving wife, a devoted mother, and a proud grandmother whose warmth, strength, and unconditional love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Alfred Capasso; her two sons, Jason (Cindy) Capasso and Jeremy (Adrianna) Capasso; and her eight cherished grandchildren, Jayli, Avyn, Diam, Clyne, Hayley, Bristal, Greysen, and Brenin. She is also survived by her sister, Trudee (Harmsen) Wagner.

Bridget’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever treasure the love, dedication, and kindness she shared throughout her life.

A public visitation will be held from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, New York with a service to begin at 12:00pm. Burial will follow the service at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie, New York.
