Brian R. O'Connor

Brian R. O'Connor, 69, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025. 

Brian received his HS diploma from Cranwell School, Lenox Mass, and graduated from Dutchess Community College, Poughkeepsie, NY with an associate's degree. He was a fine paper sales associate with the Rising Paper Company, Housatonic, MA. At one point in his life, he caught a wanderlust and became an over the road trucker, which earned him the nickname “Strider.” He shared his wanderlust with a favorite canine companion named Duke, whom he met in Los Angeles, CA.

Brian is survived by his wife Susan, and Susan’s children, and brothers Dennis, Chris, and Bob. His sister Kathleen, and parents Marcella and Bob, Amenia, New York, and Mountain Lake, Florida, pre-deceased him.

Brian was a believer in Jesus Christ, which was the basis for his “how may I help you” disposition.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 9 to 11AM with a time of sharing to immediately follow.
