Brian Joseph Bullis

April 5, 1967 — July 22, 2025

Brian Joseph Bullis, affectionately known by those closest to him as “B,” passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of July 22, 2025, at 4:50 AM, surrounded by loved ones. He was 58 years old.

Born on April 5, 1967, in Albany, New York, Brian was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Carol Bullis. He grew up in Albany and Brian proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Kalamazoo (AOR-6), a time in his life he remembered with great pride.

Brian lived a full and adventurous life marked by hard work, courage, and a deep love for his family. Over the years, he wore many hats: firefighter, security guard, and a professional driver—an accomplishment he held in especially high regard. His relentless work ethic was matched only by his fierce loyalty to those he loved.

He was the heart of his family: survived by his daughters, Shelby and Sarah Bullis; and a proud grandfather to Korey, Kyera, and Valeri. He was also a beloved brother to Joseph and Tammy Dominy(Rich Dominy) and a loved husband to Kim Bullis, Brian deeply valued his relationships with his siblings, sharing a bond built on loyalty, love, and a lifetime of memories.

He cherished every moment with his family and friends, often finding joy in the simple things. He loved spending time in his camper at Schroon Lake, and more than anything, he loved being in the water—swimming was his happy place.

Brian was known for his sharp, dark sense of humor and his uncanny ability to lift people’s spirits. He was someone who could walk into a room and make you laugh through your tears. More importantly, Brian was the kind of man who would show up for anyone, anytime. If you needed him—he was there. No questions asked.

Brian passed due to complications from surgery, but his strength, resilience, and deep love for his family never wavered.

Brian was many things—a veteran, a protector, a father, a brother, a friend—but above all, he was unforgettable. His spirit lives on in every laugh, every memory, and every life he touched.
