Bonnie J. Vanderbogart

Schenectady- Bonnie J. Vanderbogart, 73, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Chester and Marion Kiernozek. Bonnie was the devoted wife to Kirk E.Vanderbogart. They were married 52 years.

Bonnie worked as a Weightmaster in Albany, New York until her retirement.

Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her entire family and loved cooking for them. She was a passionate crafter and loved the time she spent crafting with her grandchildren. Bonnie was an avid bingo player with her mother and sisters and would play any chance they had.

In addition to her husband, Bonnie is survived by her children, Gretchen (Fay) Smith and Shaun (Dana) Vanderbogart; grandchildren, Emily Rose Vanderbogart, Tyler Shaun Vanderbogart and Esborne Smith; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie is predeceased by her siblings, Tom Kiernozek, Alice Gorman, John Kiernozek, Rita Stone and Kathy Kiernozek.
