Beverly Lucretia Holloway (GiGi), 79, of Avon, CT entered into eternal peace on November 21st, 2016 peacefully at home. She was born on September 19, 1937, in Hartford, CT to the late Ethel Anderson and Wilford Myers. Beverly dedicated her life to her family. She was known for her superior cooking skills that many have to come to love and admire. She charmed many with that contagious smile and her entertaining sense of humor. Throughout her life, she was known for her exquisite sense of fashion and style. Beverly was an entrepreneur of several businesses, Holloway's Grocery of Albany, NY and Gigi's 1&2 of Hartford, CT.
She was an avid Cavaliers fan, with her all-time favorite player being Lebron James, AKA King James or as she referred to him as "my son".
Beverly leaves to cherish her precious memories, her former husband and dear friend Willie Holloway (Albany, NY), six sons, Cameron Holloway(Albany, NY), Rory (Shelia) Holloway(NY, NY), Christopher Holloway(Albany, NY), Dion Barnes(Hartford, CT), Terre Holloway(Greensville, NC), UC White (Albany, NY), three daughters, Natara Alexander Holloway (Albany, NY), Darlene Chapman (Philadelphia, PA), and Robin Porter(Detroit, MI), three siblings, Edward Anderson(Hartford, CT), Georgette Ruffin (Bloomfield, CT), Kenneth Alexander (Hartford, CT), count of thirty grandkids, twenty nine great grandkids, and a host nieces, nephews, family and friends. She also leaves to cherish her precious memory, a special, devoted, niece Vickie (Doug)Southerland (East Hartford, CT). She was predeceased by her son Todd Holloway.

Beverly's life will be celebrated on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Wilborn Temple First Church 121 Jay St, Albany, NY 12210, with calling hours from 10-12pm, and funeral service immediately following.
