Betty Jean Stott, 88, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2015 at the Teresian House.
Betty was born March 28, 1927, in Lyons Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Albert W. and Harriett W. Burr.
Betty worked for several local bowling Lanes including the Green Island Lanes as a Children's Bowling instructor for many years.
She enjoyed golf, bowling and gardening.
She was a member of the Niskayuna Reformed Church of Niskayuna for many years.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husbands, Harold Maynard Arthur in 1947 and James Wallace Stott in 2002 and her 8 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her beloved children, Richard (Jacqueline) Arthur, Kenneth Stott and Robin (Gary) Conlon. Her cherished grandchildren, Timothy (Kerri) Arthur, Angela Arthur, Scott Conlon, Jason (Lucia) Conlon; her great grandchildren, Mira and Nolan Arthur and Devin and Cayden Conlon. She is also survived by her Sister Phyllis McNitt and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the entire staff with the Carmel gardens Unit at the Teresian House for all of their care and compassion given to Betty, also to the Jackson Ave. Women's bowling team.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 13th, 2015, at 2:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Inurnment will be private.
