Schenectady- Bernadine Foley, passed away Sunday May 31st 2015 peacefully. Bernadine is predeceased by her husband of 68 years Leroy Foley.
Bernadine was the daughter of Catherine Wallace.
Bernadine grew up in Nanticoke, PA where she attended and graduated high school. Nanticoke was the place where she met the love of her life Leroy Foley. Bernadine worked for the United States Civil Service Commission during WWII. She also worked for the Wallace Company in Schenectady and then she worked for G.E. to help her husband through school. Bernadine and Leroy started a family and Bernadine became a homemaker raising her three children. Once her children were grown Bernadine returned to college and received an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts at Schenectady County Community College. Bernadine loved many things including; the family camp on Sacandaga Lake, gardening, cooking, supporting her favorite charities, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Bernadine is survived by her children, Tina (Rick Angerami) Fisher, Marty (Wanita) Foley and Leah (Steve) Renzi. Bernadine is also survived by six grandchildren, Shauna Fisher, Erin (James Pfent) Fisher, Christopher (Jessica) Renzi, Michael (Cara) Renzi, Alyssa Renzi and Brittany Foley, and two great grandchildren, Cadence and Angelo.
Bernadine is predeceased by her siblings.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday June 3rd 2015 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road Colonie. A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 4th at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at 1:00pm.
