Berna Jean Boomhower, 70, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020.
She was born in Albany on October 25, 1949, a daughter of the late Gerald and Bernice (Hollenbeck) Hellijas.
A loving and devoted Wife, Mother and Grandma. Berna was predeceased by her husband Robert C. Boomhower, Sr., as well as her brother Ronald and niece Desiree.
Berna is survived by her children; Robert C. Boomhower, Jr. (AnnMarie) and Michael Gerald Boomhower (Lisa). Grandchildren; Robert J. Boomhower (Gabby) Brandon Boomhower (Jayme) and Nathan T. Boomhower. She also leaves behind a sister Deanie (Hellijas) Sharpiro and one nephew Derek.
In lieu of a funeral service and to honor Berna, we ask that all who wish to participate make a donation in her memory to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
