Bentley “Bud” White, 86, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Saratoga Hospital.
Born in 1939, in Albany, New York, to the late Robert and Edna White.
He attended school in Albany, New York and later joined the Coast Guard. He served with them for eight years.
Bud then continued his professional journey in the transportation industry for 45 years.
Bud will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his sense of humor, even in the most difficult times, and the love he expressed.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the Adirondacks. He passed his love of the outdoors to his sons by all of the hunting and fishing trips they shared.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Wanda Sue.
Bud is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara White, and by their sons, Mark (Dawn) White and Michael (Kimberly) White. As well as grandchildren, Brianna and Joshua and great granddaughter Novalee.
There will be no calling hours and services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Galway Ambulance, 2175 Galway RD, Galway, NY.
