Barbara C. Roberson

Barbara Roberson, 84, of Brooklyn passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, at home. Barbara was born on December 23, 1941, in Brooklyn NY to William and Fern Roberson. She graduated from Eli Whitney High School and went on to become a Bookkeeper/Accountant. 

Barbara was known for being straight and direct but with a smile. She was a beloved spouse, sibling, aunt and friend, who cherished the time spent with family and friends. Barbara was particularly passionate about cooking and traveling, and she dedicated much of her time to family. Later on in life she married Marie Garrison where they retired from their professions and traveled and enjoyed each other's lives until the passing of her true love. 

Barbara is survived by her brother William Roberson of Brooklyn NY. And a host of nephews and nieces. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Barbara's warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved and her presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
