Barbara J. Rasmussen

LATHAM-Barbara J. Rasmussen, 69, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025 after a brief illness.

She was born November 1, 1955 in Glens Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Raymond and Ann Rasmussen. She was also predeceased by her sister, Sharon Rasmussen.

Barbara is a graduate of South Colonie High School. She worked for the New York State Police for 36 years, retiring in 2011.

She is survived by her siblings: Donald (Chrisse) Rasmussen and Kristine (Ethan) Hartenberg; nephews: Bryan, Matthew and Ringo; niece, Ella and great nieces: Ava and Emily.

The family is deeply appreciative for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Barbara by the staff at St. Peter's Hospital.
