Barbara A. LaMountain, 82, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2015 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peters, with her family by her side.
Barbara was born August 28, 1932, in Albany, New York, the daughter of the late Matthew and Margaret Yanas.
She worked for several restaurants in the Capital District as a waitress her last location was with Thirsty's in Albany, with her sister Lorraine.
Barbara was a devoted wife, loving mom, grandmother, great grandmother and was very involved with her family.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by husband, Roland G. LaMountain, her daughter Dawn Dominski and several brothers and sisters.
Barbara is survived by her children, Karen (Vincent) Jennings, Deborah (Herbert) Carle, Roland (Katie) LaMountain, June LaMountain-Franklin, Gary LaMountain, Sr. and Wendy (Stefanie) Distefano, her special son-in-law Paul Dominski. She is survived by several grandchildren, four great grandchildren and she is the sister of Lorraine (Leonard) Pitcher and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peters for all of their care and compassion given to Barbara.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 9, 2015 at 9:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 609 Central Ave., Albany, NY (at Colby Street).Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd., Albany. Interment will follow the Mass in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
