Arthur J. Hirsch

Arthur J. Hirsch, 62, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2026.

Born in 1964, in Albany to Richard Hirsch and the late Kathleen Hirsch.

Arthur graduated from Shaker High School in 1982. Following graduation, he continued to work at various restaurants as a manager. Most recently he was a manager at DiBella’s in Albany.

In his free time, Arthur was an avid poker player. He loved to watch football and golf but especially the Miami Dolphins. Whenever he could, Arthur would be found traveling on a cruise, no matter the destination.

Arthur was predeceased by his mother, Kathleen Hirsch, whom he missed dearly.

He is survived by his children, Amanda, Alex, and Zachary. By his father, Richard Hirsch and his siblings, Sue (Ed) Popiel, Charles (Tracy) Hirsch, and Richard Hirsch Jr. As well as several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 from 10-12pm with a service to immediately follow at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, NY 12189. Burial will be held at Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands.
