Arline M. Bergeron
October 4, 1929 — November 18, 2016
Delmar- Arline M. Bergeron, 87, entered into her Heavenly home on Friday, November 18, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Garlan and Esther Strait.
Arnie enjoyed baking, gardening, craft fairs, and spending time with her grand children. She was also a devoted Yankee fan and NASCAR enthusiast.
Arnie is survived by her children: Robert (Fanny) Weddell, Linda (Bert) Lehmann, and Donna (Bill) Asprion; step daughters: Cindy (Ed) O'Connor, and Tina (David) Drymond; Ten grand children; Nine great grand children; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Arnie was predeceased by her first husband: William E. Weddell; her second husband: Richard Bergeron; and siblings: Harry and Gordon Strait.
A Calling Hour will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Friday November 25th, 2016, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. A service will take place at the funeral home at 10:00 am, with the burial to follow.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at Good Samaritan Nursing Home and The Community Hospice for their generous care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Arnie's name to:
