Selkirk- Antonietta Losee, predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Richard Losee, passed away peacefully Saturday June 27, 2026 at St. Peter's Hospice care surrounded by her loving family.

Born December 1, 1938 in Palagianelo, Italy, Antonietta was the daughter of the late Arcangelo Losavio and Francesca Losavio.

She migrated to the U.S. with her family in 1954, and spent the majority of her life raising her children in Selkirk, NY before retiring to Port Saint Lucie, Fl with her beloved husband. “Nettie” worked as front end grocery cashier for 50 years at Albany Public Markets and Grand Union in Delmar, NY.

Antonietta cherished spending time with her siblings, her kids and especially her grandchildren. She lived a full life devoted to taking care of her family and enjoying her countless adventures as our “Mimi”. She loved the beach, cruises, cheering on her grandkids, cooking and spinning.

Antonietta is also predeceased by her brother Anthony Losavio, sisters Dolores Losee, Elda Macri, Teresa Catucci, and nephews Michael Losee, Vito Catucci, Tony Losavio and Rocco Losavio.

She is survived by her sons Richard (MaryBeth)Losee Jr. , Robert Rarick and Peter ( Erin) Losee , her daughters Sharon Muth (Mike) and Antonietta “Peanut” ( Brian) Losee. Grandchildren Cassandra Villa, Robin Connell, Jordan Losee, Patrick Rarick, Michaela Muth, Jessica Losee, Kaitlyn Rarick, Marissa Muth, Daniel Connell, Arcangelo Losee and Joey Losee. Great grandchildren Paxton Losee, Orion Losee, Madison Villa and Jackson Villa. Brothers Rocco and Guytano Losavio. Sisters Catherine Losee, Graciela Monforte, Mary Hathaway and Josephine Hargis.

Family and friends may call Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals 181 Troy Schenectady Road,  Watervliet NY 12189.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday July 2, 2026 10:00am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church 35 Adams Pl, Delmar, NY 12054. Interment to follow mass Calvary Cemetery in Glenmont, NY. 

Flowers are welcomed as are donations to community Hospice. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff of St. Peter’s Hospice for their compassionate care, kindness, and support.
